i have an 88 bird 5.0 would the energy suspension master kit for a mustang work also can i get a pic of a rear sway bar on our cars i dont know if mine is hooked up right
What comes in the kit?
The front control arm bushings are not the same. Neither are the swaybar endlinks. The stock Tbird strut mount bushings are not replaceable.
It's also pretty hard to install a rear sway bar incorrectly, they only fit in the control arms one way.
i have sn95 front spindles which cause my tires to stick out so i was going to swap fox mustang a arms because they are 3/4 inches shorter and im lowering it so i was going to use fox struts right now i have sn95 struts the kit comes with Includes:
- Front Control Arm Bushings
- Rear Control Arm Bushings
- Front End Links Set
- Rack an Pinion Bushings
- McPherson Strut Tower Bushings
- Front Coil Spring Isolators
- Rear Coil Spring Isolators
- Tie Rod End Boots
- Transmission Crossmember to Frame Mount Bushings
- Transmission Mount
If you've got all Mustang suspension, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet Mustang bushings & stuff would work :D Like Chuck said, the stock T-Bird strut mounts don't have replaceable bushings (unless the strut mounts have been replaced with aftermarket ones at some point), and the T-Bird sway bar end links are different (longer) than Mustang links.
