Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the massive amount of footage recently pulled off youtube. Music videos, or anything on or related to a tv show. Just wondering.
Yeah, I've noticed it. Seems Youtube has been "Napster'd". Remember when you could get anything on Napster, then they lost a court case and virtually everything was blocked? Then remember how long it took to have an alternative (like, minutes?)? Then Napster came back as a pay site but nobody noticed?
I see this happening with Youtube as well, though maybe not such a thorough screw-up as Napster, because unlike Napster, Youtube actually does have a lot of amateur stuff, and a lot of people actually go there to view it.
It has something to do with the Viacom I think... I dunno I haven't been interested enough to read about it.
