I had a pair before the BBK's.They were beautiful, heavy, and felt like quality.Once I tried to bolt them on,the s for the exhaust pipe bent when we tightened the nuts down, and every hole on the head  had to be opened up as large as possible to make them fit,and there were still issues getting the bolts into the heads because the holes were too close to the tubes of the headers because we had to open them the holes to make them work.Total .Find a nice set of BBK's or a header of equal quality on Ebay.Nice used headers can be had for that same cost and less.Don't waste your money on those.Get a name brand.

Yep ron's correct.
My ebay headers look exactly like those except ceramic coated.
Still look like new after 3 years of hard sc'd use.
They did however have to be cleaned up a little in the port area as well as the collectors but nothing a light grinding didn't take care of.
Where you gonna get a new set of ceramic coated headers for 149.00????????
Mine also had no fitment problems.

Looks like a 50% satisfaction rating here.  Don't forget to factor in the shipping cost.

Quote
SHIPPING DETAIL :

48 STATES : $36.99
PO BOX : $56.99
HI,GU,AK,PR and CANADA : $56.99
INTERNATIONAL : $119.99

Seems the seller has a few problems getting the right item to his buyers' doors as well.  I'd be wary.

They may look great, and not have given you a fit going on, but have you had them off? I have a set of used ebay headers, and they wont fit on the 5.0 for anything.

Nope, never had the need to remove them.
Can't see why they wouldn't bolt right back up but..... you never know.

The reason is usually due to cheap metals, and the d warping. The ones I have warped.

BBK's are known for that too...  If they are the ones that have seperate s for each tube, they warp and can be a BI*CH to get back on....  ask me how I know....:hick:

I had a set of cheap Hedman headers on my '87 Sport... for about a year. They rusted out and I ended up installing stock Mustang shorties...

Well,if one is on a budget, the stock headers are fine for mildly modified engines, and uber-cheap.

The Hookers I used to have were relatively inexpensive at about $160 and lasted me almost 10 years.......Guess that's why they stopped making them;)

My Macs were slightly more......Hopefully they last a while too....
