Title: Strange problem.
Post by: Kitz Kat on August 17, 2008, 06:44:02 AM
Could this be ign. switch related? At times my car won't go over 3000 rpm kinda carrys on but won't go past it.If I shut the car off and restart it it's fine.it does this hot or cold.but only once in a while.I have no codes except fuel pump and egr and I know about them. This wasn't noticable untill I installed the t-5.I switched computers A9p to A9l and back again both do it.
Anybody ever run in to this?I'm going out shotly to check some things.

It's alot more noticable in gear. It's not real smooth out of gear either but will go over the 3000 rpm.Of course today it won't do it.

May be fixed,I had an open breather on the valve cover, made it closed system again.also hooked the vss wires to the computer.
So far no problems.

If you look at your comp.plug,#3 + #6 should have wires in it.

I'll bet you're right.I am now having memories of that from the Mass Air upgrade.
