Title: Distributor question!

Hi, my question was where do i loosen the distributor so i can adjust the timing? my car is a 87' cougar Ls 5.0... i tried looking around it but there is no bolt/nut that is visible. thanks in advance

Look where the distributor should sit. There is alittle chunk that flairs out. There should be a bolt there. There usually pretty well covered in oil and grime...

A 1/2 inch socket or end wrench should do it.
