Title: 1988 Turbo Coupe ***NEW PRICE- $3000 or BO***
Post by: 1WLD BRD on August 11, 2008, 09:00:05 AM
1988 turbocoupe just finished. Has the 2.3 turbo motor. 5 speed, everything has been redone basically. motor was checked over before build up and everything was good. head was ported, new valves, springs and guides and all that stuff. ranger roller cam with followers. intakes have been gutted and knife edged, felpro 1035 head gasket with new head bolts, stainless header with a dodge 5.9 diesel turbo also known as a holset, turbosmart external wastegate, custom downpipe to a 3" custom magnaflow exhaust exiting behind passenger rear tire, ranger rad, electric fan, custom intercooler piping that has been heat wrapped, volvo front mount intercooler, turbosmart boost controller set at 17lbs now, body is in good shape but does have a couple spots that are starting to show. paint is great and shines really good.floors are in great shape. has a 5 bolt swap using sn95 parts, 4 wheel disc brake with sn95 rear brakes, braided flex lines up front, 2000 gt rims with a 245/45/17 up front and a 275/45/17 in the rear. has 2000 gt suspension in it which lowered it quite a bit. car pulls really hard at 3700rpm for its size and weight. interior is really good shape and blue/grey in colour, all power options work. exhaust bangs on the torque box slightly but just needs to be adjusted and have proper hangers installed.
$3000 or BO

Car is in nice shape, just needs a bit of TLC, and a few more upgrades to take advantage of what has already been done.

Ron,just do the swap already and get the parts to make all the tc stuff functional again.
As you said,it looks like this car was meant to stay with you.
You could sell the engine and trans to help fund the project.
I may or may not know a guy interested in the eng/trans and wiring depending on what yer asking.

Someone needs to move to the US and sell me most of their rides after they get sick of them.

I am still feeling sick almost after i saw a blue and sliver 93 mark 8 sold on SBFtech for $5,500. I wish i could take the TC pay you to paint it and ship it here. I think its a nice looking car and i hope you sell it but if no ones gonna pay good money for it keep it.

Dam ron that is one nice lookin ride, didn't know she looked and sat so nice.
I got a buddy who can do an e-test for ya in about 2 weeks and get ya on the road if ya know what i mean, under 100.00 bucks.
You definetley need to keep that car and go in search of the TC stuts/shocks and abs parts to get her fully functional again.

Nice car and well worth the 3k asking price. Problem is that it seems like everyone is holding onto their money lately.

I agree.  People ARE holding onto their money right now.  Allow me to let YOU in on a little secret WLD BRD.  It IS the economy!  :rollin:

LMAO, yeah you are right about that for my ad....

but I bet that 351 would be an easy sell if the cost of fuel was cheaper no matter what the economy was like....  Hell I would buy it NOW except it would be too much of a pain to get across the border with it....:punchballs:

Man if you weren't so far away and my wife wouldn't kill me I'd love to have that TC.  It would be a nice complement to my 5.0 bird.  I'd hate to part with it if I were you!

PS--what size tires are you running on those 'stang wheels?
