Just curious to be honest, Mainly cause I saw a pre-87 XR-7 and am jealous because I wanted a power-adder motor instead of a 5.0:hick:...but I love my XR-7...
Maybe we could all meet and hangout...
I also know of a 87-88 ragtop for sale just north of that area.
I live in florida
Where's port st lucie? I live in Clearwater, it's just a bit west of Tampa.

Only further in the boonies than you - Washington County. There used to be a fellow from Marianna around here too. For once there's more Panhandle guys than peninsula... what's up with that? :D
I'm in northwest FL myself. Graceville, FL to be exact, just about 25 miles from Marianna. If your in Washington County I should see you around, doodaa, because I'm always out and about around Chipley! I haven't got my cat on the road yet, because I'm going to fix the fender first, but I'm always in that area with my brother. Maybe you've seen him around before, he drives a burgundy 93' Cadillac STS w/ straight pipes.
I live about 3-4 miles from the Alabama state line so I'm just barely in Florida. If you live this far north, you live in Florida without the benefits of living in Florida (that's the way I've always thought of it at least). The only good thing about that is Panama City Beach is only about 60 or so miles away.
I'm at the other end of the county and work on the Beach but I'm in Chipley now and then. I'd remember a STS with straight pipes but I don't think I've seen one. My '86 is still sitting too but it's rising up the project list quickly. If you see me it'll be in a blue Mark VIII these days, or in the old gray mare (95 F150), the Mark gets the best mpg even if I don't always keep my foot out of it. ;)
Sounds like we need to have a meet in DeFuniak or Bonifay.... :D
Geez, seems like noone aroud me, but I do know of a few fox tbird/cougars. Theres what I think to be a turbocoupe under a cover off of Belcher road and there is a 87-88 cougar in bad need of a paintjob and probably bodywork onBelcher as well, but near Eastbay...
I didn't figure there'd be anyone even relatively close to me. Alot of the time I'm riding with my bro, which you should both hear and see. We head out to Wal-Mart in Chipley every now and again so keep an eye out. Not sure if I've ever seen you, but the Cadillac is hard to miss as it's really the only one with exhaust like that. Yeah I know what you mean about gas, the Cadillac gets a whopping 28-30 when cruising  .... so unexpected. We were getting 32 MPG while cruising at 55 headed for a car meet in Panama City. If he can stay out of it then it averages over 25 MPG with mixed city/highway driving. 300HP + good gas mileage = a nice car.
Poor cat is averaging 18 MPG which is disappointing, but I didn't buy this car for gas mileage so there's no real reason for me to complain.
88 xr7.........is there any word on that vert
Nope, sorry man. I haven't made it up that way quite yet, should be in a couple of days to bring some stuff back to my old job.
Im Here! Im Here!
