Title: Honda Odometers off 5%
Post by: softtouch on July 24, 2008, 04:38:04 PM
Let's see, you go 100 miles and your odometer clocks 105 miles.
Is this how Hondas get such good gas milage?

honda motorcycles read 10 % fast.most foreign bikes
are off.with my VTX 62 is actually 55. keeps you from
speeding.--irv
10 % less miles on it than it reads too.

the cougar reads 58 when doing 55. checked by radar
and gps. proper sized tires are on it-225/60-15.

A good read here:

My Cougar reads lower than actual in both speed and distance.
