EVERYTHING is for a 7.5" rear........
-- 3.73 ring and pinion *USED* I got off ebay. Said they were used and run in a mini stock. I had a shop check them out and he said they would certainly work but he couldn't guarantee if they would howl a little or not.....$50 shipped
-- 3.08 open NOT trac-lok ratio ring and pinion, ring on carrier, with spider gears and everything. Basically everything that I could take out with normal hand tools/impact wrench (for pinion nut), I did take out of this 7.5" rear I bought from a yard to replace my left shaft because it was bad. Looks good, was quite obviously never pulled apart before so the wear pattern should be correct.....$40 shipped
-- Also have the RIGHT axle shaft out of this spare rear end. The surfaces the bearings ride on look very good, no pitting or scratches/scuffs.....$25 shipped

Wait I thought you were putting 3.73s in your car?
Well....I was...and I did!!! :D (thread coming shortly as soon as it stops RAINING and I can actually um...push the pedal, well...DOWNward! vid should be there too O_o)
I ended up bending over and just buying new richmond ones. I've never heard what would be considered a noisy rear end...I mean I've got no cats and 8 yr old flowmasters on a full 2.5" dual exhaust and Im always blasting van halen or something but I dont frickin know so I went paranoid as usual and probably spent way too much money. :dunno:
So I'm just trying to recover a little bit of the ridiculous chunk of cash I spent on this. Not to mention I cant frigin USE these now anyway :hick:
Ah ok. When it stops raining you should like your gears;) BTW to get your speedo close to accurate (with in 2-3 mph) you need this speedo driven gear: http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy01.asp?T1=DFM17271J+01&Category=Drivetrain&subCategory=Speedometer+Gears&CatKey=74-01 I've been using it for 2 years now with no problems.
