Title: Front sway bar smacking oil pan

What can i do to get my front sway bar away from my oil pan? I have an 84 cougar. Swaped out the 3. and droped in a 351w i have an after market meroso pan. But the sway bar hits the pan slightly at times. I can not have this as i rufuse to pull that motor again and replace the pan!:burnout:

Just cut a piece of radiator hose, then slit in lengthwise and fit it around the bar so it wont smack the pan metal-to-metal :hick:

Install a spacer between the sway bar mounts.  A 1/4 to 3/8 should do it.

a side note.... if you add spacers to the mounts you will probably induced sway bar preload,  if you go with adjustable sway bar end links then you can adjust and tune preload to your preferances
