spare tire all the sound insulation then i laid the carpet back down and put all the panels back w/no insulation behind them.
Anything else unnecessary or what you can deal w/out ex.air pump and A/C

there is insulation on top of the front splash guards, only a lb or 2 but still something. Convert to manual seats, pull rear seat, sound deadener above the headliner quad shocks, gut the trunk, switch to base door panels if you dont have them already. tubular k member if you what to spend the $

oh and pull the motor that will shave off a few hundred lbs real  easy:mullet:

Manual seat tracks saves a lot of weight. If it's still for the street, and you'll be driving it a lot, keep the stereo. It's not that much weight.Sometimes a few comfort items can go a long way,and removing them is more miserable in the long run,and not worth the effort when it's driven a lot.

My yellow kitty is turning more into a street/strip car. There was a big thread on this. I remember it. Good luck on finding it.

I removed the sound deadening tar and threw it on the scale. It was roughly 42 or 43 pounds.

Turbo Coupe/V8 Mustang front sway bar is 25 lbs.  Plastic race seats w/manual tracks weight 25 lbs less than a power drivers and manual passanger Turbo Coupe seats.  3 1/2 skinny wheel and tires are 25 lbs less than Snowflakes w/Sumitomo 245's (that's for the pair).
