did only the mustangs get the coolant restrictor in the
upper heater hose or did any other fox bodies? seeing
it is a lincoln part # i thought it might have made its way
into cougars or birds. its not in the replcement motorcraft
hoses but it is in the mustang one.
-irv,
what my catalog at work tells me is the 3/4" restrictor was used on 'birds and 'cats from '84 thru '86. they did not come with the hose when you bought it. you had to buy them separate. '87s and '88s did not show to use a restrictor. if u need one now, u can order Ford part # E7VY-18D358-A. it is stall availible....hope that helps.....
ppi sells the restrictor . ibought the hose with it in it
for less than the restrictor.
you can get it through ford [hose].
