Here is my 1988 Mercury Cougar LS 3.8L
(2 1/2 years ago)
now its my winter beater w/ rust and holes, and tranny slippin. But its get me from A to B. With little trouble. Got studded tires on the rear and the argent rims w/ summer tires up front. Its rather funny looking and embarressing. But it only has to last me another month until winter stinkin ends.
145 on the back stretch at thunderhill raceway last year when we were filming the superbowl spot, I will post a pic of it. Then, 130 on one of the straights in the "valley of fire state park" when we were filming some auto show spots (another pic). But the best part is just going down to the 7-11 with it, and then to the gas station.... I thought that I got a lot of looks with my cuda' ...not even close.
gunkel04 sweet ass gt man and my other ride yep my brothers 99 chrokee classic when he is feeling genrous he lets me drive it.
The other rides.
'86 Chevy C-10 w/ 383 stroker on Propane, turbo350 3-spd LWB regular cab. The Super Smurf.
And a '91 Jeep Cherokee ltd w/ 4.0L HO 3-spd OD, Selectrack 4X4 (Actually the wife's rig) As you can see, three days after we got it, I had it in the Muskeg, and actually had to pull this big GMC 4X4 out of the hole three times. That Ford down there needed something with a bit more oomph to get out, though. An 80's Chevy 3/4 Tonne and about 60' of chain. :giggle: I can't quite remember, but I think it was a 2WD.
