Here we are....down to the wire... who's ready?
I admit, I'm not...but, I do great under pressure! lol
Car needs a bath and detailed inside. Still need to pack. Still have to get all the Auction stuff together...... this should be a fun few days!
I'm not ready either...
Oh wait, this is out in public, isn't it...
Yep, I'm ALL SET!
;)
Whew, We dodged a bullet with a little part here and another part there...but in the end our Cat will be ready. :poke: :grinno:
I have to vacuum, and detail my cat yet too, and figure out a way of getting a body kit for a cougar in my trunk.....
just gotta pull the plugs and clean em, then a quick oil change and I'm good to go...
You aren't supposed to use your outside voice! lol :rollin:
My Car's still on jack stands in the process of swapping the clutch, it doesn't help that I have to work overtime too this week
well I just finished up the exhaust on mine (sunday) and I am not liking it.so I will be heading out to the garage tonight, to see what I can do about it. other than that, all I need to do is give it a bath and I will be ready..............looking forward to meeting you all and checking out all these shagy rides you have.
Hey, what's happening in 3 days?
Santa Clause is coming :D
I'm getting close. finishing up odds and ends. I got to drive my car again on its first long trip on the new turbo/header/head/intake last night. I'm still working on getting it running better and get all the exhaust work right. I still need to get the a/c working and will be needing to keep it under 5000 rpm cause it leans out REALLY bad above 5000 rpm:mad: Its hard though cause it pulls so hard, and its only at half the boost I was running before:evilgrin:
k Cougar is all vacuumed, and I just got done doing the body work on the dented fender and my custom hood, and blasted them with paint tonight... turned out good enough for CJ I think... especially since I am running out of time... after CJ I will redo the fender properly.. note the lack of the pinstripe as well, that took 4 hours just to remove the driverside of that ... cant wait to wake up and start on the passenger side.... YIPPEEE! not...

My Cougar (the '87 this year) will be the piest any of you have ever seen it looking. My June was just too full, and I had been deferring a lot of cleaning work that she has been needing.I barely got the driver's side door window glued back into its clips. I just got this done yesterday - Now I'm not supposed to try to roll the window down for 48 hours...like 36 hours to go!
I'll be hitting the road some time tomorrow. I guess I'll try to make it look presentable when I get there...
Nice job RJ!
I've got plenty of time I think.

Maybe?
I've got one tranny line leak to fix, do a once over twice :hick: and bolt the hood on :D Then CLEAN. Its filthy.
Okay, all my mechanical stuff is finished now, but tomorrow will be spent vaccuming and washing the car. I need to wax it too, but I doubt that'll happen:(
My interior is all pulled.
My kit is still drying from its adhesive so the car cant move anywhere for 2 more days (full cure)
I work tomorrow (Thursday) , Friday and Saturday. I'm seeing some late nights coming!!
