Disgraceful! :beatyoass:
almost as disgraceful as that prius in your mirror.
lol - is that a Prius? I see those darn things everywhere lately!
Funny how the gas pumps with $4.xx prices are just to the right of the Prius windshield.
Hey,I'd appreciate it if you guys would chill a little.I'm installing a wing like that on the Sport after I get it painted.
Why
how
who
I don't know what to say anymore.
will it look like that one?
I was just joking. No spoilers for the Sport......at all.Sleek, uninterupted beauty.
:rollin: :rollin: :rollin: ;) :shakeass:
I just gave my brother the wing off the bird. I'll keep everyone updated on that one. his interior is now partially lime green.
Bah! that Porsche ain't diddly!
I just bought on ebay an entire tail from a B-29 Superfortress...wait till i put THAT bad boy on MY Tbird...:hick:
[joke off]
Did you guys notice the little cargo straps holding it down?At least they match.
I am thinking that with the flaired out fenders, and the proper offset wheels, that the spoiler might be more than just an appearance item.
I sure wouldn't think so if they're using small cargo straps to hold it on.
Also, don't the straps seem to be pressing down on the glass in the front? 100+ MPH - I see danger.
What I was gonna say too...seems as if the glass seems to be taking all the pressure of the "wing-thing"..not just the hatch...?
A friend has the N/A version...it'll still decently haul ass, but he don't need no stinkin' wing on his!
I dunno, I'm still laughin' at that everytime I scroll and look at it again!
S.o.b
Wow... looks like quite a bit of effort was put into it also, lol. :mullet:
Aside frome the rice paper wing....
I like it.
Vinne don't play i know hes got a Cobra R spoiler ready to go that 944 looks good except the pos spoiler but it could be fixed hell a 944 does not cost much more than our cars untill you start fixing it up.
I'm still thinking that is a conscious, purposeful, useful addition.
Looking at it I doubt it's resting on the glass in any location, and the straps may not just be "ratchet straps".
It's highly possible that the car has been built for HPDE's and the wing is a temporary addition for events (4th of July weekend being a 3-day could have been a good time for one, so thus it has not been removed yet).
The construction on the wing and the bracketry looks too well thought-out if you ask me.
Well, the guy was just out for a joy ride as he proceeded to go 360 degrees around the rotary and back in the direction he came from. If you look carefully you can see that the rear tires are indeed about a foot wide and therefore the fender extensions are entirely purposeful. OTOH, there are few "events" within 50 miles of Cambridge/Fresh Pond where he was joy riding so he may have simply been "tweaking" the suspension and going for rotary spins to get the feel for it - who knows. I'm still dubious of the strength of the attachment points for that wing - I thought there was part of a panel truck "floating" in mid air when I came upon him - I was shocked when I saw that hideous piece of aluminum "strapped on" to the back of a Porsche. It may be purposeful, but it sure looks wimpy - and out-of-place.
