Hopefully I'll have it done and painted in time!
hey are you on drugs or something? you never show your projects til its done. looking good man, can't wait to see the finished work.
Nah, I just couldn't sleep at night so i kept myself busy by compiling that haha
A frankencat?
Good idea.Nice work as well.I hope you're going to post some pics after CatJam for those of us that can't attend.
Oh for sure!
Thinking outside the box, lol. I'm putting my plastic welder to much use as well. Looks good, and you may have to break out the late 60's Cougar emblems, too. :D
Wait where did the 87-88 Cat come from? ;)
Not my cat, it's Mikkel's old car. I got more progress on it done today, all i gotta do is give it a good paint job and she's good to go. I think it turned out pretty great.
not the one he had at CJ last year i hope.
No no, his cat before it. The one he had last year is still alive and well.
I just completed it. I decided to post it before CJ after all. There's been a lot of people who have been dropping out so I figured, why not.

Very nice :D
I look forward to better pics when you have some better lighting.
wow... IMO that makes me like the 4 eyed aero a bit more. the whole reason i didnt like the 4 eyes was the header panel, which you sir, have fixed. i really want to see this car in the sun etc.
Here's a slightly different angle, Sorry for the py and garage lighting pictures, the iPhone wasn't cooperating and the car's still on jack stands from a clutch swap, Not to mention the entire thing is still dirty and dusty, oh well, I promise to get better pics as soon as I can (or whatever people take at Cat Jam)

Theres no way in heck I'm making to CatJam, So spill the beans..how did you make it?
BTW. that looks very pro. Everything I try to do always ends up looking like poodle .
very cool alex, turned out better then I expected... gives me ideas for my XR-7....
Looks great and thanks for posting before and after pictures turned out a little better that i thought but if your gonna do something like that i am sure you knew what you where doing for the most part and knew it would turn out just fine or better than stock.
Blew it up and cleaned it up a little for ya ;)

Looks like a Capri. Can't wait to see it this weekend.
Thanks guys, and thanks for cleaning up the picture! as soon as it's off the jackstands tonight i'll snap some outside pics, or if not then tomorrow before I head out to Cat Jam!
looks smooth
I knew it reminded me of something thats what it is!!
Looks really neat though I like it!!
Capri, hmm....yes. At first I was thinking a 1998 crown vic (with the headlight covers), but yeah.

I think you need the cat emblem on it somewhere in front.
Or, mabe the cougar or merc. badges on the bumper
wow dude that is sweetcant wait ti see it
Thats pretty sweet!
I thought about that, I actually even have a NOS emblem for an 87-88, but then I thought nah, that would be the obvious thing to do, now what i might do is actually put the mercury emblem back in the bottom right corner, if anything.
I wonder what it would look like with a black grille, sort of like a cop car's...
thats sweet as hell!!
Looks good, The grill just looks huge now, I like our little divides we have between the grill and the headlight buckets. thats just me though. I think the Merc emblem would look awesome on there. I was going to put it on my new grille but never got around to polishing it up.
Very nice.
Very original.
I don't think it needs an emblem on it....
I'd consider late 60's Cougar emblems on the fenders and call it good. The whole front without emblems speaks for itself in volumes, awesome!!!
That is awesome! Definetly shows off the lines on the hood. Almost looks like a 1" cowl or something. That is awesome!

And just so there's some original content in this post...
I'd be interested in seeing it w/out the headlight covers. Where'd you source the grill?
