I'm sure everyone had noticed lately, that I've been expressing my dislike for a certain Chevy Monte Carlo.
Recently my wife was at the car dealer with the kids, helping them find reliable tranportation. She noticed a car in the back that caught her eye.
I won't make you listen to the whole 5 page story, so lets say we don't have to complain about our car anymore.
Here's the before

Nice Lincoln, Jerry now you can bring that to CatJam instead of your chevy van. :headbang: :D
oooo beautious!!
So now I shouldn't get any complaints about me working on my car. LOL
BTW, The Monte will be for sale shortly
edit: and also a jeep cherokee.
mmmm lincoln towncar
i reallly wish i would not have jumped on the 99 cougar as fast as i did the Mnish (i don't know if they were built on the MN12 body) Linclon Mark LSC has really been catching my eye as of late, nonetheless nice Linclon.
The Mark VIII's were built on a FN10 platform. They look like MN12's though
Nice ride.
Even though the mark viii's where not exactly the same chassis they share all the same suspension components(less the air ride),engine cradle and irs.
That's quite an upgrade! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. :D

Thanks for the compliments, my wife is very happy with it.
I was thinking of getting her a bird, but we do a lot of cross-state traveling. this gets 26 mpg highway and very easy to drive. takes corners great at high speeds too. (had to test it. lol)
of course it has
4.6 with T-lok
It's probably the only car I've owned with a full frame under it, also
got a great deal, it will cost about $7,000 after we sell the Monte.
Its the 2004 Ultimate edition with the cosmopoliton and gold package. 24,000 miles on it.
Originally had chrome rims on it, but they were peeling, so ford replaced them for free with the newer style rims.
Looks better (minus the top) and quicker than the Monte too I bet.
I like it! Now what kind of undercoating does it have?
Its a lot quicker. 239 hp. the Monte has 200, and boy does that thing move.
it's not undercoated, which is good for me.
I'm going to treat & coat it my self before fall.
just a little rust on the frame where it joins the cross members and weld joints. compared to my car, it should be a weekend job. LOL
FN10 is a stretched MN12
Wait until somethine goes wrong with the lincoln. It will be quite exspensive. My brother had one, needless to say he learned his lesson.
We always had Caddy's until the Monte. It goes with the territory
EDIT: It also has another 4 years of full bumper to bumper warranty. :D
very nice ride :burnout:
