A few years ago I slid off the road and mangled my core support on a palmetto bush, so 5 years later I decided to fix it LOL. I had my buddy bend 1-5/8 tubbing to my specs and I also decided to lower the radiator so it sits flush with the upper core support for a more finished look. I added some gussets so I can strap my car down when I tow it to the track.

Spiffy.
Umm, you know, palmetto bushes and coyotes do remarkably the same kinda damage. I centered a coyote on the interstate running 80 mph. Dunno how, but it didn't harm the radiator or condenser coil. Rolled the rad support up pretty bad, tho. I took some large wedges and expanded the collapsed part first, then used a cable winch tied to a tree to pull it back forward where it belonged. I found these cars are NOT heavy enough to be pulling on the rad support, yet too heavy to depend on it for tow hooks.
all done, now I just need to get new rubber mounts

Very nice looking!
Very nice work looks great.
Both of my cars would use that.
Seems like every fox body I own has a damaged lower rad support.
pretty nice looking. not so bulky either.
Thanks, I cant believe how strong it is I can jack up the car by it and no flex, might help my 60' time :D :burnout:
I'm very interested to see how this turns out. Looks good.
Me too!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
