will 295/50/15 fit underneath a cougar on the rear or do you have to do alot of work for them to fit? i had 275/60/15 they fit pretty good with out rubbing.

I'd hope about 11" wide.

I had these under my car for about 1 week on a set of 10" wide weld wheels with the stock rear. I think they had a 4.5" back spacing. These were my brother so I do not know any more info about the wheels. I was rubbing the fender lip (on the side walls) when the car twisted. I could have fixed that by changing the rear springs or putting a couple spacers in the springs.

I believe that I have read that Blown306Cougar (Nick) had this size on the a set of 10 holes before getting welds. Do not know if there where any issues of rubbing.

The ideal tire for a 7" wheel is a 205.

236/60's fit nice on the turbines, wouldn't go much wider on a 7" wheel

i have 275/60/15 and its not bulging at all on turbines. my question was would 295/50/15 fit underneath the back of a cougar. that wide of tire i wouldnt put on a turbine. i planned on putting them on weld wheels if they would fit underneath the rear without rubbing.
