84 Cougar, 3.8, EEC_IV.
Getting tired on erratic surges / stumbling. Since aftermarket dropped multi-point rotor had nothing but issues.
Any recommendation for who to use for all electronic -- or better yet anyway to substitute the distributor for whatever was used with EEC-V without changing the EEC-IV computer?
I believe the fix is swap to a '86-'87 computer... The later programming is far bettor than the first units...
