:birdsmily:
looks shagy!!!
Nice stance. And that dash looks pretty nice too, is it a new cover?
Yeah I like the stance too, what springs you running?
Great looking car.You guys and your pictures are killing me.I have GOT to get the Sport finished so I can join in with the pretty cars.More sanding today.Again, great looking Bird.
Don't feel bad, Yours is nicer then mine
Where did you take those pics?
I like the overpass pics
very nice !!!!.........................love the pics by the building ,with the mirror windows.
thanks guys!
dash
- check out the reflection of the dash in the windshield...i have a nice uncracked dash sittin in the garage. most likely to get installed over the winter.
springs
- 400lb coilover front, and '00 cobraR IRS rear
pic locations
- overpass is a new interchange that has been built to support the new annex of the airport(not yet opened)
- the mirrored windows are on the end of a building i used to work in on gasoline alley
- the shot in front of the DRC sign is where i work now
Looks sweet, nice pics too.
So how does it drive with the IRS under it?
Brent
:cougarsmily:
it rides and drives great. even with fairly high springs rates, it is compliant to irregular road surfaces and not harsh at all.
Looks Great! are you going to make new custom speaker grills for the doors too? Everything looks so flat except those. just thinking still looks bad ass!
Where was that highway overpass? I'll never see one that empty around here.
Car looks great!
...
the interchanges are all blocked off, road closed until the new airport construction is completed....also notice no paint lines or anything on the pavement yet.
It looked new, just wasn't sure. Up here you'd never be able to get a shot like that even on a closed one.....Too much clutter with the construction equipment left around.
these ramps and overpasses have been built for over a year, all the construction equipment is gone. only things left are some concrete barricades at the bottoms, and road closed signs.
Details details details.
I like that shot where the light is glinting off the extractors like a set of high beams, about 6 from the top I think?
Those brake fill the wheels nicely. Are they working okay?
Minor hijack: Mine sits pretty much like yours, the last delivery guy (ie tow truck driver) asked if something was wrong because it sat so low. uh, no, not likely.
yes, they are workin great!
starting to get comfortable with the car again; drove it like i hated it all the way to work this morning :burnout:
didnt even get a second look from the driver of a SRT4 until he heard my BOV, but then it was tooooooo late ;)
that is sweet! sorry it took so long for me to post. I had to switch keyboards. I drooled all over the first one! LOL
so is there any wheel hop with the IRS? how was the traction?
car looks good, man!
no wheel hop with my IRS. i have removed all the squishy rubber bushings and replaced them with delrin, poly, or soild mountings.
I think it was trailered. :hick:
Have you scaled the car yet?
With the tubular k-member and the IRS, I'm wondering how it came out.
Brent
:cougarmily:
you caught me! :flip:
yup. it weighs 3199 w/o driver and half a tank of fuel. f/r is 52/48
Darn, I was hoping for a 50/50. ;)
Very impressive results.....congrats !
Brent
:cougarsmily:
well i could fib, round the numbers down, and call it 51/49 ;)
i havent tried
really hard to get the weight down, as yet. i pulled whatever sound deadener out that i ran across, removed only the loose tar paper, and relocated the battery to the trunk. easy stuff.
3200 was my goal for this stage, and i made it, yay! as i get deeper into the car, there are many more ways to put it on a diet.
