hey there it would help to have the processor ID code so he could pick witch one is better for his app. Then as for the VAM there are only 2 sizes when is comes to ford 2.3T a small and a large. The larger the better but you would most likely want the ECU that was made fro the Big VAM. Same goes the other way around. Also the ECU determines what size injectors you are running so. The VAM, ECU and injectors need to match. Then Most any ford 2.3t harness should work but depending on the ECU it might need to be repinned or wires added.
