Title: Dash lights not visable.
Post by: Dansbirds on May 21, 2008, 02:36:12 PM
I did the search and came up with some things to check but figured I would throw out the question and see if anyone has any other ideas. Its a 87 Bird. It was raining today so turned on the lights and all the lights externally work fine but I have no illumination in the instrument cluster/speedo area or in the heater controls. The potentiometer is rolled up to brightest also. I cant say for certain on the radio as it has never lit up for as long as I have owned it. I do have the indicator lit at the auto light switch area. No one has changed the radio so I donty think I fall into the pinced wire area. In searching I read of a cluster illumination relay. Where might that be located. I figured it was the h/l switch but looking for any suggestions aswell. Sorry so long winded and thanks in advance for any and all help. Dan
