Title: Sway Bar Re-location
Post by: Blackout on May 19, 2008, 04:29:22 PM
Hello!

Have any of you running aftermarket K-members had to relocate your front sway bar?  My SB seems like it would need to be moved forward for the links to line up right ( It was a royal pain to replace them.)

I have the Griggs K-member, a-arms and coilovers.

Any input:birdsmily:  would be appreciated!

I'm running the Granatelli Motorsports K-Member, A-Arms, and Coil-overs.  My stock sway bar mounted up fine as long as you get the A-arms with the sway bar mounts in them.  I'm using a 4 3/4" sway bar end link kit as well.  Hope this helps.

Nice setup.

When you look at the endlinks in my car, you can see that they are angled forward instead of being nice and vertical.  According to Griggs, this causes some serious stress on the a-arms and can actually damage components.  According to them, they have a swaybar relocation kit for the t-bird that will move it where it needs to be, and also comes with endlinks.  This allows the use of the stock legnth endlings as well.
