Only if you use adjustable rear lower control arms and adjust the spring seats up a bunch. The Mustang springs are about 3" shorter than T-Bird springs.

I had no problem running Bullitt springs all around. The rear did sit about a 1/2 lower than the front though. Thought about buying some spacers or some ARLCAs but it just didn't bother me that much. My next setup will be very similar to yours. Coilovers in the front, Bullitt/Mach 1 Springs in the rear. Adjustable RLCAs wouldn't hurt either. :)

How did you run Bullitt springs in the back without dragging your gas tank on the ground? When I had my Mach 1 and TC springs side by side there was at least 3" difference in height. I think there's actually a photo comparing them somewhere that someone else took...
*EDIT* Here's the pic, Cougar5.0 posted it:

Not sure, but I do not recall the physical height difference between my rear springs being that significant.  I've even had 3 other adults in my car and they only thing I remember that sped was my sagging exhaust.

I can't imagine how anyone could use the Bullitt/Mach1 rear springs without adjustable spring perches (or at least spacers). Saying they will work as a drop-in is really bad advice IMO.

Also, use the search fuction, dude -> http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=16552&highlight=spring

Since I had to raise the spring perches 1 1/4" over the already higher than stock setting of the CHE arms when using these springs & I was left at 27" from the ground to fender lip, where would lowering the mounting point of the spring by about another 1 1/2" leave you?

My quick calculation says that the fender lip will be 24.8" above the ground which is approximately a 3" drop from stock.

Not exactly a drop-in.

i ordered everything except the rear springs i got every last part UPR sells basically and a Q1A k-memeber so all i must buy or want to buy is rear shocks.

$100 is not to bad even with 50restos $15 flat rate shipping if i find a few parts to order it might not be a bad deal.

Also keep in mind that he had a 4-eye. The weight difference of a 4 eye may have something to do with it. Not to mention that even ford spec'd different springs for the 4-eye.

I have one of mine dropped 3" and I don't have any problems yet :hick:

Nope you don't.

I don't think you have "controller" arms at all.

I really did not order any of it i left the cougar project to my mechanic i just kind of overlook it and try and find parts and help with the overall design concept.

Right now i am thinking about getting some Gunmetal FR500s for it and some nitto NT555s on the front and maybe some M/T ET streets on the back or 2 more NT555s.

Would a 17x10.5 fit on the back of what might i have to do to make it fit. If i am getting Slicks i want deep dish rims on the back because i like the look.
