Thanks everybody -- I am really GLAD to be done with school. I'm hoping to get a position with one of the local colleges as an adjunct instructor so I can keep my day job with benefits and get my foot in the door teaching again. I taught at a local community college part time for a couple of years but stopped when I commuted to St Louis for about 18 months when my full time job was eliminated.
I don't think the degree will make much difference in my current position but my employer paid for it.
Now, I'll have time to clean the house and cook supper (WHOOHOO!) -- less take out may help the budget!
Thanks again, everyone!
Paula

Ric, Please go back to post #14 and read how she answered that question you just asked. Thanks Dan :cougarsmily: :D
so sorry I missed that
Congratulations Paula!
I graduate on the 21st :D
Congratulations on your graduation - it always feels so great to get to the end of the exams and papers and attendance obligations and get that diploma.
I'm not quite sure what to do with all my free time these days so today it was beautiful outside and I trimmed my rose bushes, fertilized my other plants, and then took a nap with the cat (the housepet, not the car -- the car wouldn't have argued about moving over to make napping room for me :rollin: )
Anyway, congratulations again and enjoy the ceremony -- get some pics and post them.
Paula
I hated school, so I figure just the fact that you went back would be enough for me, and then a masters to boot. Congratulations on a job well done.
