this is kinda just a feeler, cus it doesnt seem like many people have body kit parts anyways. but im thinking of painting my car before too long and my body kit is a little messed up to say the least. i dont wanna paint a py kit, and i'd rather not take it off if i can. all i really need is the driver side middle section, preferably of the 87-88 MCK plastics kit.

again, i know that thier hard to come by, so this is kinda out of curiosity if thier are any available.

i dont know anything about fiberglass repair(or plastic?). and its pretty far gone. like, where the fender flows into the door section, the fender part is missing, its cracked almost the enite length of the thing, and a hole in the rear part in front of the rear tire.

i'd call it toast

Can you email me a closer picture of the kit? I know where there is a set of side skirts for a thunderbird but i dont know what kind they are. if you email me at jpc647@charter.net a pic of the side skirt ill let you knwo if its the same.

i dont have a close up picture of the kit, and my camera has been screwed up since i took a pic of someones red t-bird, and it broke my camera. lol. i'll try to borrow a friends camera and get u a pic in a day or two.

John: If Keith doesn't get the side skirts, would you let me know where this car is located? I'd like to check them out if they don't work out for Keith.

  They aren't on a car. I know a guy who has them off of hte car. They are the ABS platic ones. They appear to be the kobel set. In the rear of the skirt there are three rectangular slots.

Those are the effects kits I was talking about. I think the man wanted 250 plus shipping. Maybe I can talk him down a little. Anyone interested?

its possible, i think i remember hearing that before actually. theyre just so freekin expensive, new or used, shipping will probably hurt alot. at this rate, i'll probably just end up removing the kit whenever i do paint it.
