Put my car on a lift today to change the oil. After 3years and 3 months, I finally made the switch to full synthetic. After an informed decision, I will run Mobil1 from now on in the car. I digress........
Fear struck and panic sunk in as my eyes gazed upon red fluid on the bottom of the converter....
When your car only has 7,449 miles on it and you see that fera and anger are the only 2 things there are....
I DID have a rather fun drive with the car this morning prior to that and ither than being backed up and down my driveway, it's the first time this car has seen the light of day since early February. The new JDM tune has made changes to the line pressure as well and it is rather warm out for once.....
I clean it off and drive home as if I were already collecting social security and had been for a century or so. Another drop of fluid.
I let the car sit for an hour and decide it's time to see if I can reach the top of the vent tube. Sure as shiznit, it's wet.
The vent tube is attached to the backside of the bellhousing.....BRILLIANT

Just thought I'd spread the word on this little tidbit for you S197 guys & gals with the 5R55S......
Thoughts of having to shell out for a Lentech when I've put $10,000 into my house this past month gave me a pit in the bottom of my stomach!
P.S. I'm still pissed that I have to clean my transmission case off....I really hate fluids in places where they don't belong on a car. I got most of it, but I have to get it on a lift again to do it right.
