Now that you bought a different car, you'll want to change all of the things on it that aren't cool. Here is my list to get you started:

.

Hmm, I'll have to look at those pics again. There has to SOMETHING on that car that isn't cool.

Nope, can't find anything.

See the difference between here and the Corral is there youd get 10 responses saying "lose the bubble hatch put an aero front end on it"

Looks great I love the capri's esp. the front end. Nasty burnout too.

I just remebered I know were there is a sorry looking capri hatch, with a 5.0 and bubble hatch.... Maybe I should look into it and swap the lincoln parts into it when the lincoln dies from rust....

thats a matter of opinion....  I have never like them, but lastnight I was checking out all the capris on cardomain, and for some reason I am starting to like them...

I need the '85-'86 RS front clip....

I'm with Chuck W on this one... KEEP THAT BUBBLE HATCH!  BH Capri's are pretty rare site anymore. Don't butcher it up! Besides, it makes them look different from the zillion Mustangs out there.

I remember when they first came out I thought they were weird looking, but now they seem quite contemporary.

I used to have an 1984 Capri bracket car, and seeing this makes me really miss it. :(

Nice rig...

how is just changing a hatch butchery?  four bolts and it is out, and swapped back if I desire....
and the front end, hood, and fender flares, and quarter glass,:hick:  are also a big part of looking different from all the mustangs...

but the hatch and back end are ick!...  I really like the way my wifes '82 looks with the stang style (stock that year) backend.:D

maybe with a 250 shot or if the car weighs 2500 pounds. The car is very clean don't see those much anymore, I use to see a black one around for a little but i think the yard got it.

Man is it fast!  I couldnt resist dropping it off on some country raods out at my buddies place and taking them for a thrill ride....  I have never driven anything this fast before...  THANKS PATRICK... WHAT A RIDE! :bouncesmi

Stopped at the Wendys on top of the mountain to grab a quick bite to eat and had some idiot in a ricered out Nissan Fairlady, ask if it was a four cylinder still... "because he seen the SVT badges and figured it was a 4 banger"  WTF?!?!?  must be good crack...

then had a bunch of guys ask me what kind of car it is at the gas station.  LOL, Im loving the attention already. :bouncesmi

and yes...  it did have a shot of Nitrous on it, but I think it is well capable of running low 12's on the motor as it sits...  my white stang could do it, and I KNOW this car would kill it in a race...

I was looking for a car with good gas mileage.  The capri seemed the right choice for 2 reasons....
1: it's not a mustang
2:  it would have potential to be built when the time is right.
Unfortunately i settled on a $200 SC2 with no possibility of being built, lol.  But that's what the tbird's for.  Up here, rust never sleeps.

And yes, I feel like I'm being nannerbanged. :hick:

just appraised it today...  appraise at  near twice what I paid...  guess it was a good deal.  The funny part is the appraiser asked me to bring it back sometime and take him for a ride...  haha, he is a huge Stang fan.
I already scared the  out of all the friends I took for a rip....

Will get a video up of me going throw the gears tomorrow.
Here is a video of it idling this morning.  it has no choke on it, so it doesnt idle good until it is warmed up.

No... it appraised so high, because of the overall condition, and the fact that ALL capri's are rather rare to begin with.  ;)  and yes I decided to keep the hatch.:D ....  for now.:hick:

LOL, Yep it is a holley, I think it is screwing up though.  Sometimes it is loud, then it goes quite, then comes back loud again...  I am on afternoons this week so it will be a no show for me as well.  Let me know when the SC stuff is ready to rock, and I will come get it.

Provided i get the engine out tommorow(pretty sure i will) then the stuff will be ready for pickup this weekend bro.
Judging by your video, the sound gets softer when she idles down(due to less charge being sent to the electrical system)then goes back up just off idle when the voltage comes up,normal, mine does the same.

K cool, because I just got my personalized plates for it today and they wouldnt look right on a stock tbird.. ;) .
You are right about that in the video, but the video doesnt capture what I mean...  I can be cruising along and you can hear the pump whinning away, then all the sudden it goes  near silent for a few seconds, then comes back to noisey..  The pressure barely changes when it does it...  I will have to take you for a rip sometime and show you what I mean.:D

NO SPOILER,it looks weird because it's a CAPRI not a RUSTANG,the hatch really sets it apart.
I can't believe it carpimp actually had a few good idea's LOL,as i thought the same, just no crome rims.
However if i know ron, those things will be fixed within a week.

X2  Im amazed! LOL.
yeah Im not putting a wing on this unless I swap a stang hatch on, then it will have the Saleen wing, NO chrome rims, too flashy.  I was actually going to redo the flat black last weekend, but I was haveing too much fun driving it.  Will probably tackle it this weekend.  the car will be getting repainted this summer so the bumper paint doesnt really bother me right now.  May touch it up this weekend as well anyways, we'll see.
