has anyone installed one on their cougar. does one of
the forum members make these? id like to do it on the
88. have you used the 2 or 3 lamp? looks relatively
easy. pretty reliable? thanks for any help.--irv toms
I have one on my T-Bird.Sweeeeeeeeetness.Not hard to install at all.The only mod I did to the kit was install electrical plugs to the innermost signal lamps so i can remove the taillight without removing the bulb.Awesome setup.Thunderchicken has them.I believe he gives a discount to members only.
They Rock, and Carmen (Thunderchicken) is great to work with. I had issues with mine and he has been there to support it promptly and without a problem. Is a quality product with detailed instructions and prompt shipping.
Highly recommend dealing with him.
It is me who makes 'em. They rawk :hick: I always tell people they're about as difficult to install as a car stereo.
never could wire a stereo right either. i looked at the
instructions on the website. years ago i had one of the
first ones that vic yarberry made for the 67-8 style.
i will have to get one ordered from you. now for the
hideaway headlamps and ill have an update of my 68.
[yah-right]--thanks--irv
dose it use the stock balbs?
On the 88 Bird it uses two of the stock balbs, then the third (on each side) has a another balb supplied if you buy the deluxe kit I believe. Nice thing about Thunderchicken being here, is simply e-mail him and tell him the car you have and that you want everything it takes (he can do full or partial kit’s) and that’s what you will get. This allows you to source some of the part’s yourself if you like. For me I didn’t see the since in that, he has already done the footwork and his prices are as good as anybody’s.
I used his balbs.
