Title: Sport? wheels an option..?
Post by: Beau on March 06, 2005, 06:38:33 PM
On the new Bird, there are the wheels that I refer to as Sport wheels-the ones with the holes in 'em, eight holes.
Were these wheels an option, or did someone maybe put em on the car after they bought it?
They do have the locking lug nut on every wheel...so I'm assuming they're factory.

as far as I know they were optional on every bird except the TC.  Which got snowflakes only.

Even on my sport the aliuminum wheels were a $183 option.  I think the sport came with polycast wheels or something

cool deal, thanks folks!
these wheels are real nice, too, no curb rash, they're not at all skinned or got that flaked look, like some have either...btw, the car was made in Lorain, and then shipped to Michigan, where it must have been well taken care of, there is just a little rust up underneath it...
