Title: coil spring isolators
Post by: mywifeskitty on April 30, 2008, 02:34:12 AM
i have new coils (oem), and they've finally worn away the lower isolator on the passenger side (i didn't replace them at the time :punchballs: ) and is making an awful racket.....  i can't find ANYWHERE where it is listed which type and size of isolator we have... it seems CHE no longer carries them (or has none) and when you goto the energy suspension web site, they show them as universal and don't list them by application......  i don't want to have to disassemble it to find out (the cougar is my dd right now)... does anyone know which type of isolators we need (front and back, top and bottom) and what size they are?  i hope someone who has replaced them remembers.....

thanks a bunch for your help :)

Use the ones for a fox body Mustang, they work just fine in mine at all four corners.

Yeah, you can get them anywhere.  I know for a fact that if you go to Autozone, you can get them, because that is where mine came from.
