now, i know the stud size is different... but.... could i use my ported and re-valved e7's on a 351?

or am i gonna have to you know... port a set of 351 heads i have layin around?

Will a 1/2" 351 headbolt fit through an E7 head? Other than that, it shouldn't matter except for usual suspects like piston/valve clearance, etc.

My '94 351 had E7's on it. You would probably have to have a machine shop enlarge the bolt holes

You can drill the holes in the heads your self. You dont need to take the heads to a shop to do them.
When i built my frist 351 i used my E7's with no probs.
I also had flattops with roller 540 lift cam in there.  But i had pistons with big valve clearance :)

I thought ALL E7s had 1/2" bolt holes... The 5.0 uses a 7/16" bolt with a 1/2" shoulder...
