Post by: turboed302 on March 06, 2005, 12:10:36 AM
im good with body work so im going to give a project a try. after one hell of a long time expirementing. im going with what looks like the best light i could find and it is the 02 honda accord lx projector lights. i think it can be done i just got them in and with a harness and fabrication ill get it done not to mention the bmw m3 mirriors im putting on.  ill take pics and let you know how difficult/fun it was. im sick of the 3 piece lights on our cars

yeah, will be looking forward to some updates. Although I don't mind the stock lights (love the markers' looks in the evening), the headlights leave a lot to be desired

Yes! Let us know how it goes. The headlights on my '88 leave alot to be desired and I have been wanting to swap them with something better.  Not just brighter, but better focused and safer.  Like a modern car :)

just about any 80's car had similar headlights to the 83-86 birds/cougs, the camaro's, many k-cars, etc

you can easily buy kits to run H4 bulbs and different headlight buckets for your year, i believe Eric did it, as did one or two other board members

Hey thats awesome!  I've wrecked a few lenses from experimenting over the years for the same reason.  Ya know, If a company actually produced presision lenses to fit the 87-88 cat or bird, they'd be millionaires!  So with that in mind - Good luck to you.
