I need to know if there is a h pipe out there that has a 3 bolt .
the headers I have http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=HED%2D88380&view=32&N=700+4294839039+4294908331+4294840126+4294925044
have a 3 bolt but the hpipe I want http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2D640945&N=700+4294921571+4294908331+400304+115&autoview=sku (http://"http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2D640945&N=700+4294921571+4294908331+400304+115&autoview=sku")
has a 2 bolt .is there a way to get these to bolt up or do I need to look for a diff. h pipe?
I think if u buy header collectors, cut the s off the h pipe and weld the collectors to the h pipe that would solve to problem, other then that, look for new 5.0 headers

those would fit your car and the h pipe, plus they have thicker s, thicker tubes, and larger primaries
I've never seen shorty 5.0 headers that were three bolt(then I don't get out much LOL)... Guessing since the application stated '79-'85(and '82-'88 T-bird) these are designed to repl the stock iron manifolds and are different from the later pieces... I'd just get headers for a '86-'93 Stang and matching H-pipe... The later two bolt pieces are what everyone uses...
I had a set of headers with a three bolt . Turns out they were actually intended to fit a F-150. The passenger side fit fine, but the drivers side had all sorts of problems fitting. In the end, I just went with some stock Mustang/Mark VII headers that fit like a glove.
