The Habs just played two good periods of hockey, and shat the bed (it's a Star Trek term) in the third. The Bruins had a really nice comeback. What was with the double PP's?
It's definitely the playoffs, and a good start with a classic rivalry. How about the guys laughing as they walk off the ice at the end of a 2-2 third?
Was watching it - would have been a good game if the B's came out on top - oh, well...
Boston got screwed out of that one. some borderline tripping call costs them the game.
Both tripping calls were very clear on the cameras. The questionable one was the uncalled high stick by Montreal just before the last trip. Even still, Montreal deserved a loss for shooting twice in a minute and a half of power play.
I'm not going to complain, though. ;)
I'm going for the Pittsburgh. There an unstoppable force.
I'm gunning for the Habs, because that's what a real fan would do. :) If they get knocked out, I'll probably stop watching. I haven't watched the entire playoffs in a long time.
You should all be afraid of the winged wheel!
Zetterberg and Datszuk are magicians with the puck and Nick Lidstrom is a future hall of famer.
And so is the Dominator. Passed his prime probably, but I think he's going to find some energy for one last playoff run.
And Chris Osgood ain't no slouch.
Wow, the last game was the first time I've been excited about a Bruins game in a long time! Back in the day, the Bruins-Canadiens rivalry was one of the most exciting for me - even if the Bruins almost always came out on the short end!
Should be a good game tomorrow - if I can bring myself to watch it!
Ouch! I was out last night playing bass at a memorial party for a guy I went to school with, so I missed the game. And I'm glad I did.
This should be a good game. Stressful, anyway. This is too close for comfort to being an upset for the Habs, seeing as they came into this at the top of their division.
Boston will win it. I've got a funny feeling about this one. And if they do they will be playing Pittsburgh. The Penguins will destroy Boston the way they are playing.
There must have been tonnes of Green House Gasses expelled in Eastern Canada, last night, as at least half the people east of Ottawa let out a breath they've been holding for a week.
That was an awesome series. I just wish I'd have seen it all. A good seven gamer that looked bleak for the favourite. Well, they proved last night that they wanted it. Let's hope they can keep on pushing through.
Poor Bruins have probably never taken a decisive game in Frogville. I have bad memories going all the way back to the late 60's. At least the boys made me interested enough to even want to watch the game. As luck would have it, I was only able to watch the 1st period last night (after having a CT scan - don't ask) - the 1st period wasn't half bad. I checked online a bit later a was glad I missed the rest! Oh, well - it's been a long time since I screamed "shoot it!" and "smash that cooch into the boards" at the TV. It was a coincidence that a kid I used to play hockey with back in the day was also at the bar during the 1st period - ahhh, the memories!
