Check these 2 classic's out here are a couple of rides my dad owns. Enjoy :headbang:
1936 Ford PU & 1949 Chevy sedan
a few more.....
last but not least...
verry nice,I will take the truck
That truck is beautiful. The sedan looks great too. I've been noticing a lot more '40s-'50s era cars being restored around me lately. It's a great switch from seeing nothing but '67-'69 Camaros.
looks awesome. i want them both. once they get here i'll throw the check in the mail. lol
That's awesome. Have you ever taken those to the Woodward dream cruise?
Sweet rides. How fast is the truck? The car is nice, but the truck gets my vote.My dad has a '70 Torino with a 429 SCJ in it,shaker hood, bench seat,4 speed,no radio, only a heater. He still has the factory GoodYear Polyglas GT's on the original wheels hanging on the wall in his garage. He swapped them for Cragars and Firestones when the car was a day old,and he hasn't had the originals on the ground since. He's had some wicked offers for those wheels and tires.LOL.
WANT.....TRUCK.....NOW:burnout:
I LOVE the Chebbie Fleetlines. Guy that regularly is at the local cruises nights all throughout the summer has a black '51, has a sun visor over the windsheild and its got the skirts like that one....lowered just a little....looks cool as hell. I prefer when he takes that as opposed to his '56 chev or his '36 ford :D.
Truck looks good but... whats that under the hood?
Thanks, Guys for all of your compliments they are very much appreaciated.... Both the (36 Ford PU & 49 Chevy Sedan) have a 350 4 barrel Elderbrook quadrajet engine in the engine bay. And 350 Automatic Transmission's too.
Dan,
Those are really nice,
His and hers?
Nice :D
That truck is begging for a stick ;)
*Drools*
Trade my 'bird for one! *snickers* :hick: :hick: :hick:
What great rides! I'd give up my Cougar wagon in a heartbeat for one of those.
Out here in SoCal those old Chevy's are called Bombs. Very sought after. Way back in the olden days my parents had a 49 fleetline. They traded up to a 54 Bel Aire station wagon tin woody.
Which brings back old memories. My mom and us kids were out with mom doing errands and we all piled in the car after coming out of a store on main street. She was PO'd when it wouldn't start. There was something wrong as the key wouldn't turn.....Wrong Car! I don't know why I remember that as I was probably 6 at the time. Our car was only three cars away. I'll never forget the look on her face when she realized. :D
very nice dan...except they would look MUCH better with a 2.3 turbo under the hood.
:birdsmily:
Sweetness indeed. :)
At least til I saw the SBC in the truck. I think I lost my appetite. No snacks for me tonight. :(
Nice truck, regardless if its chebby powered, which Im no fan of, but that trucks waaaaay to nice to care about the motor.
Doesnt need a stick, needs a built turbo 400 with a 2800-3000 stall converter. Would scoot!
Thanks again fellas for all of these great compliments... but since it is still my (Pop's PU) and him feeling like he's 20yrs old again. I'm just waiting my time out for maybe landing this bad boy in my own driveway somewhere down the line. :headbang:
SBC = Small Block Chevy
Don't you guys read the Jeg's catalogue on the john? :D
I absolutely love the truck!
Small Block Chevy (350)
Very nice rides, i'd be proud to own either of 'em!
I don't want either of them looks like they got a great home and are well taken care of. Thanks for the pictures both nice rides to look at.
Yeah, when I'm not playing my Nintendo DS. lol. They are nice, even if the engine in the truck is blasphemy.:shakehead
