Bump!
So the MAF housing is the one from the FMS Mass-Air kit right? If so then I'm guessing it's the same as the sucky stock Mustang one I'm using for now :hick:
yup, the same ;)
Nuts :hick:
i'm still in the dark about exactly what the "pound" rating of an injector does, but my injectors have an orange top too.... are those the right injectors for an HO motor? if so i'll take the injectors....
Pound = pounds per hour the injector flows. Pick your HP ceiling, divide by number of injectors to figure the size you need. You can calculate a correct answer:
http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx
8x 19 lb/hr injectors is pretty close to 4x 35 lb/hr injectors, so your looking at something in the neighborhood of 250-300 HP.
so maybe this should be a question for the engine threads, but since we're here, i'll hyjack it for a sec (because i bought the injectors :)).... so if you put a "higher lb" injector in, does it immediately provide more power, or is it used to make a mechanical change to the engine system better (i.e. over boring, different head, etc.)..... just wondering if the extra squirt of fuel helps a stock motor... thanks :)
More for a mechanical change....Too much injector will actually hurt....
An excellent thread on the subject is HERE (http://"http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=13859")
BTW, injectors are sold ;)
Housing sold as well. Thread closed.
Thank you!
