Time to change the rotors on my 87 bird. Since it is a rotor/hub assy was curious on you guys opinions on replacing the wheel bearings as well or re using the ones in there now. Not having any problems but figuring since I am already there .. Thanks in advance

i would base your decision more on mileage and visible wear than the cost of new parts.

unless you have done them recently or at least know the last time they were done, i would suggest doin em while you are in there.

That was kind of my thinking as well. I got the car with 120k on it and now with 140k I was thinking more preventative than cost. Appreciate the insight guys.

rule of thumb is to replace everything you can proportional to how deep you dive into a project.

50 bux cost for both sides including wheel seals.

100% my thinking as well. If its a wearable part and your taking it off, put a new one on. Espicially something as cheap as bearings and race's.
