new or used speedometer gear for an aod or any auto.if it has 22 or 23 teeth. right hand (drivers side) of trans. :birdsmily:

well im in the process of parting some cars out... what gear set do you have in the rear end? if i come across one ill let ya know

ford stock only goes to 21 teeth,after market does 23 ,i'm not sure about 22.i running a 1979 lincoln aod. ,a 3:43 8.8"and 15 " rims. i am 7 mph fast @ 55 mph and have a 21 tooth gear in it. i figure 1 tooth will slow it down to be right.

Im not sure, but wouldnt a 1979 lincoln trans be a c6?
