I'm looking at ordering some new adjustable struts/shocks to replace my PRC's.
It's down to Tokico Illumina's or Strange 10 way adjustables. They both come in at the same price. The car sees mostly street driving and some spirited driving on some back roads. It will see the strip a couple times this year.
I'm leaning towards the Tokico's right now, only because I can't find much info on the Strange. I'll be going with Fox Mustang stuff as I've lowered up front with Eibach pro-kits and have Chuck's brackets for the rear.
I'm trying to decide on these by tonight/tomorrow.
Tokico. Strange is generally targeted to drag racing, so you may have a difficult time setting them up.
Tokico for handling
Thanks guys. I've been doing a lot of reading today and Tokico it is.
Yeah, there seems to be a concensus that Strange are better for the dragstrip - though nobody can explain what that means exactly. I know the Tokico have less adjustment overall (IIRC) - but nobody seems to know if they have enough adjustment for the dragstrip. My search ended up with me keeping the stock replacement units (Gabriel?) as I was totally frustrated after reading for a few hours. I get 1.6 60's which I've come to find out are pretty good for my power level & weight, so I see no reason to switch now.
I have the QA1's up front and found them to work just fine on the street.
Say Chirp where you been hidin'??? Ain't see you in a couple of years...
I have been around.
But i spend more time under my hood then online
