Of course I'll clean 'em. Note, though, that they're not rusty. Or, more important, broken :hick:

Here'z one of the biggest reasons I'm installing 'em:

It was all apart a year ago - note the new spring isolator with the broken spring (yes, that $%(^&$& TC spring broke AFTER I redid the front suspension), so everything should come apart easily enough...

I put new EVERYTHING in last year: Struts, strut mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends, rack, urethane rack bushings, spindles (for 11" brakes), TC stabilizer bar, urethane stabilizer bushings & end links, and urethane LCA bushings. Aside from the stabilizer bar and spindles everything else was brand new. Even the coil springs were replaced, albeit with used ones (this is not a Turbo Coupe, I installed Turbo Coupe springs). I know they usually break at the bottom because that's where my original V8 springs were broken.

Potholes can't be blamed. The car has not been driven in two years. I put the springs in intact, and aside from moving it in and out of the garage it hasn't moved. One day I was doing something else to the car and noticed it was broken. I got exactly 0 miles out of my used TC springs :hick:

I think it may have broken while jacking up the other side of the car. Not sure, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Before and after pics will most certainly be forthcoming. With the broken TC front spring I'm actually expecting these to lift the car from where it's at now, at least in the front. I'm hoping the rear comes down at least 3" (it sits higher than stock now thanks to stock TC springs and adjustable CHE arms which added an inch).

Tell you what... trade you even for all that HO and T5 stuff you have :hick:

Actually I can post "before" pics now. Note how low the front is and how high the rear is. I hope to even it out a bit:
