Title: CHE Suspension
Post by: Uncleford on March 08, 2008, 10:54:04 PM
I am looking at some rear suspension parts from CHE. Before I buy, just wanted to check and see if there were any negatives with them... Dbl Adjustable uppers and non adjustable lowers are the parts. Thanks for the heads up...

I run / tran the CHE stuff in my T-bird (they are now under Frank's 83) becuase it was what waas available for the T-bird. I love their stuff so much, I bought it for my Capri too, even considering I had maybe 100 choices there. That should say something about how I like their stuff.

I do not like the idea of the poly bushing on the housing end. Its adds too much bind. If anything you can add the sperical bearing there, but I have always got along fine with stock, or ford replacement bushings on the housing end.

CHE rear eye candy ;)

I wasn't aware of the bind that poly bushings cause.  thats what I ordered.. I still haven't received mine yet but I guess they will be here early next week.

I believe he means the one that doesn't come with it for the upper rear, the others will work fine.I didn't order the extra one,I just used the stock one on the rear.I just put that there in case someone wanted all poly bushings. You should be fine.

No, the extra one I ordered was for the upper control arms that goes in the 8.8. The stock ones are shot. When I get done with replacing all the bushings this thing should feel like a caddy. Maybe it won't squeek anymore either!

Got the CHE parts in. They look good. Of course any parts are going to look better than what is under there now. Should ride much better now.
