Since I decided to take the day off, surf and chat. I snapped some pics of the storm thats going through here.
We got about a foot last night, and we're supposed to get another foot tonight with 40 mph winds.
Right now we are getting freezing rain between the two storms.
Did anyone else get it bad this week?
Hope no one was near that tornado.

Was 70*and rain last night, 69* and rain now...
we got some yesterday, but not that much at all. maybe an inch or so, but it was all melted off by late afternoon. i'd love it if we got one more good snow like that before spring time.
we're getting hammered with the same storm here.. I will go out and get some pics soon
We're getting Tom's weather - 70 degrees and raining like hell. We're expecting 3" of rain overnight...
will it ever stop snowing

IM SICK OF SNOW!!!! lol.
Snow's mostly gone here, thanks to today's rain and the fact that it was 50 and sunny yesterday and Thursday. I snapped these pics today of an eagle eating something in my yard that shows how bare the ground is (the white stuff in the background is ice deposited there by the river during the last flood).
I imagine I should have some decent flood shots tomorrow, since the river is right at the point of jumping its banks right now...
^A$$hole! lol
May the flea's of a thousand camels infest your arm pits!
I think the rapture has arrived here...
Ohio is covered with a foot or so. I just got back from joy riding around town with Martin pointing and laughing at all the people stuck. 270 is still covered, 70 is covered and 71 is covered. Anyway in, out or around Columbus is horrid. I had to go help a friend out. He couldn't make it to the Grocery store with his vehicle. I even brought Martin a morning Coffee. Yes I am a good person, despite my self portrayal on the forum :hick:
Thats an 88 XR7 under all that snow. And the most awesomest vehicle EvA! The Mercury Mountaineer AWD. :D
This should take care of all that snow
it was cold here today 30's it blew snow from about 7 am -11 am with no accumilation even though at time it looked like a blizzard.
this should take care of that snow
lol, that's pretty cool.
I took allot of pics. Debbie's daughter is up here for the weekend, and we have not had this much snow since 78'. I was driving around town just to get a few pics. Here's a few.:D
My favorite. This guy stopped long enough for us to take his pic in the condo division my baby lives in.

All this snow must be due to the greenhouse effect.
Great pictures guys.
Getting ready for spring in the the Northwest, looking good today. Brought home two more Eldos to part out.
Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour so you can wake up an hour early.

The drift hanging off the porch roof sticks out about 2 feet. Don't know what's keeping it up there.

The snow is piled up about 4 feet as you can see by the mailbox

Thats all I have for today. Consider this storm history.
I'll keep you posted on the flooding next.
Some flood pics, as promised (we ended up getting about 2.5" of rain)
More:
I think i prefer the snow problem better.
Id take the flooding, Im no wheres near a flood zone so it wouldnt effect me much...
I' take the flooding too - the water's all gone now (unlike snow, which would stick around for days at least and months at most), and it's not like it damaged anything (in my yard, anyway) - my house and sheds are all well above the water level. The little white and red shed you can see near the water in the first pic, second post is still at least a foot above the high water line. I'm sure it will get flooded at some point, and had probably been flooded before, but it's only full of old car parts anyway.
The cube van that's in one of the pics is in my neighbour's yard across the road. It's junked, so I don't think he cares if it's flooded either. The water did get pretty close to his firewood, though...
That storm just dumped a lot of rain on us and knocked down quite a few trees due to the heavy winds it brought with it. I actually had to use the axe in the Crown Vic at work to chop up a tree that was accross the road in to small enough pieces so I could move the darn thing.
Looking at it that way, sure. I never have had to worry about flooding either. I'm well above any issues for flooding.
