this weekend i will install a hydroboost brake system for a lincolin conntinental in my 88 tbird
Your Momma must be proud.
this forum is for info and or questions . we dont need your smart ass comments
This forum is for
info, and you happen to be lacking.
Why did you install a hydroboost.
Someone was bound to say it, I was first. ;)
for the better braking over the old booster also have 5 lug swap with lincoln fronts and 95 mustang disc rear
This is a terrible post with very little info. You can do a lot better and make this of interest for the future.
Is the Lincoln hydroboost the same as the Turbo Coupe, ran by separate pump or does it use the power steering pump?
Unless you had high need for vacuum for other things I don't know why the hydroboost system would work better. Tell us exactly how it works and why you thought you needed it.
Pictures and instructions would be nice. Any problems with the conversion? Does it take up less room? I know there are terrible for weight.

it runs from ps pump. it also has 2000 psi caliper pressure . hydroboost is great for large cams or boosted engines that have low vacuum. as for the weight ill know tomorrow when i do the swap. my reason for it is i have 22s and their heavy so the extra stopping force is needed. another thing is if the car dies you still have 3 assisted stops .
Oh shiznit.

ahhahahahaha!!
no comment...
Oh yeah, and we need to see some pics of that phat bling!!
I misread the first post, I thought you already did the swap.
When you do it, take notes and pictures and let us know about the conversion.
Pictures, Pictures, Pictures. This post is useless with out pictures.

Twenty Tews?!?!!
**Sigh**
These cars are NOT 'Donks.
When your suspension parts start breaking more often I hope you'll realize why.
Looks like your bone stock on that 5.0 too from the other thread....Your gas mileage must suffer as well...
:rollin: :rollin: :rollin: :rollin: :rollin: :rollin: :rollin:
There was a article in one of the Stang rags several years ago about this conversion...
