I say Crystal would like this because I know she likes bullmastiffs and large dogs in general.
I possibly may soon be the new owner of this fine animal. He's a bullmastiff puppy (8 weeks old right now). His CKC name is Janhammer's Halifax Explosion, while his normal name is "Bam", which I hate but I didn't choose it.
I say I'll "possibly" be getting him because I will be getting a bullmastiff puppy, but I'm not sure which one. It's a weird arrangement:
My brother, who is friends with the breeder and owns a champion bullmastiff bitch, owes me a million favours. He knows I've been wanting a dog, and he also knows I'm too cheap to pay $2k for a bullmastiff. He is now in possession of this dog, "growing it out" to see if it's show/breeding worthy. Meanwhile his bitch is pregnant and will be dropping a litter in mid March. He's gonna grow out one of those puppies as well. Whichever turns out to be the more breedworthy/showworthy dog he will be keeping, and I will be keeping the other. I'll also be housing Bam for a few weeks while the puppies are whelped.
Both dogs will be bred and shown, but my brother's getting the better of the two, I'm getting the "runner up". That work will be done by the breeder, Janhammer. Once my dog is mature enough he will be "milked" (which is exactly as disgusting as it sounds) and then neutered. This is fine by me as I have no interest in breeding OR showing dogs.
So long story short I'll be getting a dog, I just don't know which one. Whichever I get will be the pick of his respective litter (Bam was his litter's pick, the other dog will be that litter's pick).

HE'S TOO CUTE! And yes, you're right ;) I think it's more a love of smooshed faced dogs and it seems the bigger the better, lol.
Good luck with the pups and remember big clumsy dogs are great speedbumps in the middle of the night when it's dark ;)
