Want to paint a set of wheels? looks good man how many hours do you think it took to get it to that point?

waaaayyy tooo many.  I wanted this car perfect like my truck, so it took along time.  the wheels I think were the biggest pain because it took 4 days of polishing to get them that shiny
the first pic of the progress that I have, I uploaded dec 19 and that was after a couple weeks of work

if thats all you were going to do, I would brush it, but it took a while to mask the tbird emblem because masking tape wont go down in the whole, so I carefully ran my knife around the edge near the top of the indent to make it even all the way around.  it probably ended up being painted 1/16 - 1/8" farther than I would've preferred, but it still looks good and makes it a little more visible being bigger

Where is Oak Harbor in relation to Columbus?  I'm in Lancaster about 30 minutes southeast of Columbus.

Car looks great.

ahahahaha, yeah sorry, rofl.
And to think, I've only had this car since september, lol.  Got 3"dp to 2 1/2 stainless stinger duals and FMIC for it.  still looking for new BIGGER turbo, lol

Hey bhazard, how did you only manage to get your car to a 15.47?  I pretty much had stock everything other than the cone filter and gilis valve and went 14.97@90 with stock turbo.  course I DID have a 2.02 60', lol

Cause I never went down the track before in my life, I had bald tires, and a slipping old clutch (it didnt last much longer after I ran the car) and I didnt have a boost controller yet.

true, all things considered, I went that time on the third pass in that car.  Thing is definately not like launching the truck:hick:

Well it wasnt my first time going DOWN the track, it was one of like 5 passes I had, the worst was a low 16.

The 60' was the killer I imagine. But it seemed like on every pass I had some WOT missing in 2nd or 3rd if I remember. Ive replaced the fuel pump since then as well (it was stock).

Claude get your ass up here and visit, Ethan lives within 45 minutes of me, he's just being difficult and saying Oak Harbor instead of Toledo :P

I guess I could say "Toledo" too, I think Im closer to Toledo than he is, lol.

It's the generalized area. You say toledo, people think NW Ohio, you say swanton or oak harbor and they say "huh?"

It's like how I tell everyone I'm from Boston. Technically I'm from Dedham, MA but who really knows where that is?

Yeah I guess huh...
I guess you could say "Im from a Toledo suburb" as well.
