Title: if mustang seats bolt into our cars...

then why wont these Holcomb Motorsport brackets? these com up roughly an inch on each side to short to reach the factory mounting points on the floorboard, and according to Eric's site:

mustang seats should bolt in, but it seems my 88(at least) has a wider bolt pattern. sorry if it's been brought up before, but i did search and couldnt find any info that explained the bolt pattern difference.

on the last pic, the "rusty" spot is where the mounting bolts go in.

No....Mustang seats bolt to our SEAT TRACKS...not the FLOOR.

Looks to me like it shouldn't be too hard to weld a couple pieces on there to make those fit.

yeah, i know. i was just thinking that for what i paid for them, they should have just bolted up.
