Now thats what I'm talkin about.

I personally think that's one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. I wonder how many gallons to the mile.
Didn't they used to call that the Excursion?
That's bigger than any Excursion. It's based on a heavy-duty chassis. It shares some sheet metal with the medium duty F-series Super Duty, but the hardware is much bigger.
I'm with Oldraven - that thing is not only pointless, it's insulting. At least Hummer guys will sleep well, knowing that there's something out there even worse...
Cripes.
Nobody ever picks up on my sarcasm.
That's because you suck at it........... ;)
Or you don't use enough wink emotes.
That's a pic from the Chicago Auto Show :D I saw it there and I wasn't impressed. Too big......
Id pimp one. Im assuming its diesel....throw some stacks on it, put a Banks power pack turn up the fuel mixture so its a little rich and firewall it past the EPA headquarters.
*ducks fists*
It is huge, isn't it
Says it has hardwood floors,
not sure I would spend 200 grand on that.
I could get a nice little house for that price. With hardwood floors.
I'm assuming it has the 7.3L rig in it, unless it's the new twin turbo setup they have.
You're looking at about 12mpg.
I think it actually has the heavy duty truck engine choices (Caterpillar, Detroit diesel, cummins, etc...)
Most of the Fords we deal with (Sterling) have blasted Mercedes engines in them. Those things are a total pain. If they're not a Mercedes, it's not uncommon to get a cummins in them.
That suv has a Caterpillar in it
guy that owns a boating place near me owns on, thats modded sweeeeeeeeeet thing it is!! he tows the boats with it (speed boats)
Yup, it's the 7.2l.
230hp 660 ft/lbs of torque
130 amp alternator
45-gal fuel tank
X2 you couldnt PAY me to RIDe in it let alone own it...
You can thank rigs like that for fun stuff like CAFE and $3/Gal gas.
42 speakers and only a 130 amp alternator?
Engine also sounds underpowered...
Basically just something someone gets to show off in is all.
It only sounds underpowered. Most of those are 5 and 6 speed automatics. They will make peak torque through almost the entire 3,500rpm powerband, and not have a problem moving something that big. You have to think, those are the same engines in a lot of large moving trucks, that weigh about 42,000 pounds loaded.

25,999 GVWR? On a single axle? Did I read that right? If so, there are roads around here that you wouldn't be allowed to drive on half of the year (road ban).
Yeah...wouldn't want to be caught dead with East Coast Style. ;)
Uhhhh, that sounds painful.
*Note to self: watch your cornhole.*
...because, really, the truck just isn't obvious enough by itself.
they are fun to scare people with!!!
Some of us do, laugh, and go on. If they don't, o well.
That is obviously a truck for display purposes. I realy don't think anyone plans on using it as a daily driver. I love the interior of the truck. Looks pretty comfy, and room for the in-laws as well. :hick:
It look like a MAD MAX movie vehicle.
Dom.
looks like the 98? f650 I used to drive at work everyday with a cab instead of bins and a bucket. I love that truck. It gets better gas miliage then any other truck even close to its size...
Thats with a gas engine though...
Hehehhe!, I'll do with My old '80 van in the traffic when I'm pissed off, Gneheheheh!...:hick:
Dom.
I oughta show you a picture of my truck at work if you think that yours is scary. I got a gigantic metal bumper over 3 feet deep with bars with ladders on each side and a mesh metal rack above the hood and windsheild.
If there were ever a zombie invasion i would love to take that truck out. Its a scary mofookie at 75 mph bouncing off the 4000 rmp rev limiter with both tires hanging over each side of the lanes on the freeway.
The F-650 Truck is good as is ...............for the love of god ford needs to stop messing up something good.
Great novelty from the outside... Inside; a bunch of spare parts from 1980+ thrown together and or recovered? Looks like a fleet truck outfitted with a lego interior :D
Ford's acting a little wacky lately, but not that crazy. This isn't Ford's creation, it's a SEMA truck.
I still prefer International's XT series. The F-650 just looks odd, especially with six doors.
There's loads of limo-versions of those things around Vegas. They have tandem rear axles and what looks like van doors on the back. Repulsive as well.(http://www.craftsmenlimousine.com/F650%20Web/P9174008.jpg)
It's probably just me, but I actually like it as a limo. *Puts on asbestos suit and prepares fo the flames*
