Post by: Lion-O on February 04, 2008, 11:22:25 PM
It's been a while since i was on this site and i notice alot of new change's. I remember on the main page, saying you can use the t/c rear, but now it says you can use a 94-98 mustang rear end. I need help. plz bring me back into the loop, plus what happened too the classified section also? oh yeah i take it then the stang rear end is a direct bolt-on?!

There are 3 threads stickied at the top of this section regarding the rear ends.....

The classified section is still there.

I seen the sticky, but i'm not understanding it. I'm reading alot of back and forth about figure's and not a clear, conise answer. I just wanted to know (yes or no) if the 94-98 stang rear end will directly bolt-up to my 86 cougar. I'm not good with number deciphering. thx guys.

All it takes is reading...but obviously you don't want to do that.

The rear will bolt in...it's not a mystery.

You didn't specify what you exactly wanted to to, and I'm not going to waste any more time guessing, but the rear end will bolt up.  Whether you'll have working brakes or wheels that fit is another story.

They fit very nicely, I have a '96 rear under mine from disc to disc, and my rear track is exactly the same as it was stock.
